Meet Morgan Browning, LCSW
I offer a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you can feel comfortable showing up as you are. Together, we’ll explore what might be weighing on you without judgement, build practical tools to manage anxiety and overwhelming thoughts, and help you better understand the patterns shaping how you think, feel, and relate.
My approach blends insight, coping skills, and emotional support to help you feel more regulated, connected to yourself, and better equipped to move through life with confidence.
Therapy is a space for you to do the work at your own pace, with me there to support you, offer perspective, and gently nudge things forward when helpful.
If you’re interested in learning more about my approach and who I am as a therapist, please read below.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work and my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas.
With nearly four years of clinical experience, I’ve supported adolescents and adults in high-acuity settings with a wide variety of challenges. This includes anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, attachment and relationship issues, family conflict, trauma and PTSD, substance use disorders, eating disorders and body image concerns, suicidal ideation, and self harm.
My Path to This Work
I was first drawn to social work and therapy over 10 years ago after seeing people close to me struggle silently with past trauma and mental health concerns. I wanted to be the person who could sit with them in those difficult moments and help them feel less alone in what they were carrying. My own navigation of life stressors and emotional experiences further deepened my commitment to this work and my belief in the importance of support, understanding, and connection.
Over time, I’ve found an approach to therapy that feels genuine to who I am and how I connect with people. I care deeply about building safe, trusting relationships with my clients and creating a space where they feel supported enough to open up, grow, and begin creating that same sense of safety within themselves.
My Approach
I take a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, meaning:
I see you as the expert on your own life and I let your perspective and lived experiences shape the direction of our work together.
I aim to provide a space where you feel safe and comfortable with vulnerability. Emotional safety develops over time, at your own pace.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to healing. Change happens within a safe and authentic connection.
I help you identify and build on strengths you may not immediately recognize, using them as a pathway towards change.
I integrate mindfulness, somatic practices, and tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support grounding, emotional regulation, and coping. It’s often helpful to strengthen these skills before diving deeper.
I show up as a real person, bringing warmth, personality, and humor into sessions while maintaining the supportive therapeutic space.
I consider the broader context of your experiences, including how systems, past experiences, and trauma may be impacting you.
Together, we will work to make sense of your experiences without judgement. We will build up your self-compassion and curiosity.
We’ll work together to find what feels most helpful for you.
